Enhancing STEM and CTE Programs Using AR/VR: NY District Perspectives

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Discover how students in New York school districts are using augmented and virtual reality as a part of their curriculum to prepare for college and future STEM and CTE careers.

Students know computers, they’ve seen 3D movies, but now they can pick up, manipulate and explore content ranging from automotive systems to anatomy by “lifting” images from the computer screen. From examining bone fractures to building circuits, students are demonstrating a deep level of engagement in STEM and CTE content when using augmented and virtual reality.

Attendees have the opportunity to get hands-on with different AR/VR applications to get a first-hand view of how today's students are preparing for future careers in STEM and CTE pathways without having to worry about limited supplies or safety.
