NYSCATE 2020 Annual Conference

Through school closure and distance learning, I have developed a way to provide hands on learning experiences while at home. Through weekly design challenges, students work collaboratively with family members with supplies around the home or special deliveries of "Macgyver" kits to design, build, and innovate their solutions. Students then reflect on their learning and doing through google forms. Flipgird is an awesome platform for students to safely share videos of their work, give and receive feedback from their teacher and classmates and ultimately learn from each other.
