ScratchJr: Creative Computing in Early Elementary

Learn the why and how of teaching creative computing to your students in grades PreK to 3rd, through the introductory programming language of ScratchJr. Teach your students how to create their own interactive stories and games, while learning computational thinking skills and computer science concepts. This interactive presentation will familiarize participants on how to integrate ScratchJr into a variety of classroom settings, while also showcasing student-made projects. I will share my experiences implementing ScratchJr and provide practical examples, as well as a wealth of free curriculum resources to get you started.
