I'm an elementary librarian and this is my 8th year with the Oswego City School District. I have served on both the district technology and assistive technology committees as well as the district literacy committee and served as a council representative for our Boces SLS. Currently, I'm on our local and state Battle of the Books committees, the Vice-President of the Central New York School Librarians Affiliate as well as the Region VI representative on the NYLA-SSL board.
I'm a dog lover, part-time yogi, coffee fan girl and ardent lifelong learner who strives daily to crush librarian stereotypes (except that one about the cardigans-I love a good cardigan). I believe the best learning happens when we are having fun and my greatest wish is to never hear a teacher tell their class, “This is a library so you need to be quiet” ever again!
